Man, I used to write some strong music back when I lived in the "hood". A lot of my music was influenced by that cuz I was always around it. I used to take the bus every day. Always around poverty, ignorance, depression, low self worth. I hated it. I just wanted to break the cage of ignorance! I hate what rap talks about because it's only a glimpse into the reality that is this life.

So on this song, I'm just telling people that the street life is just not worth it. I pray that they listen.
